Fearless, brave, and strong. These words may not be the first that come to mind when describing how you see yourself, due to the tough times lately. If you need a little help finding your way back to normal, this season’s Kwesiya Accessories aims to boost your courage and inspire you to express who you are.

The limited-edition embodies empowerment and offers everything from contrasting color palettes, height and volume to tone-on-tone ensembles. The versatility of these pieces will suit your every mood and every style.

We talked to Fanny Ngantcheu to find out more about the campaign and the thoughts behind it.

WHY DID YOU GO FOR A POWER THEME ON THIS CAMPAIGN?

“The collection and its theme are really a reflection of the power, freedom and optimism that so many movements and people are expressing and fighting for now. Our muses and inspirations grew from forces within various fields: music, arts, politics”.

THE BOLD IMAGERY IS FEATURED THROUGHOUT THE CAMPAIGN. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH IT?

“We wanted really clear and straightforward visuals and facial expressions, and decided to emphasize them through accessories, make up, wigs, jewelleries. We love the transformation feeling they procures when put together and decided go full in.
The colours express the overall mood of the collection: unapologetic pink, majestic blue, powerful red."

THE COLLECTION MIXES MANY DIFFERENT PIECES. HOW TO STYLE THEM?

“However you want. We love boldness in a look and to be a bit adventurous.  The accessories in this collection are meant to be present and bold. They will add height and presence to any outfits. We had fun mixing and matching pieces, genres, materials, to show that there shouldn’t be any limitation to your creativity and your style."

WHO IS THIS COLLECTION FOR?

“Anyone who takes on obstacles, prejudices and challenges with their head held high, and who wants their style to reflect their power and ambition”.

HOW DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO FEEL WHEN WEARING YOUR PIECES?

“Boosted and happy”.

HOW DID YOU CAME UP WITH THE NAME FOR THIS CAMPAIGN?

"Nwadike is a Nigerian name from Igbo origin (A tribe in the Southeastern part of Nigeria). It means "this person is strong". It really translates the essence of this campaign, and the overall energy when we were filming it."
